Owing to his pending retirement, Tony Pope, Director and Owner of the Registered Training Organisation – Centre Safety Training and Advisory Services Pty. Ltd. – is selling all courses and course materials registered to this organisation. The business, either wholly or partially, is also for sale.

The courses include all classes of mobile, overhead and vehicle loading cranes, dogger, sling and lift, elevating work platforms and forklift trucks. The courses are a result of some 20 years since the business started in Alice Springs in 1988, hence the name.

Since 1990, Tony has successfully trained a large number of people in the industry in various training programmes. The courses have generic manuals and Power Point Presentations, as well as training resources as required to conduct the relevant course.

The Slew/Non-slew is a generic manual consisting of 208 pages and some 198 slide presentations. Also, an 18 page pocket book for slings and slinging.

For the Sling and Lift, Overhead and Vehicle Loading crane, the manual is 115 pages and is accompanied by a 173 slide presentation.

Forklift Truck has a 54 page manual a 100 slide presentation, and the Elevating Work Platform has a 48 page manual and an 85 slide presentation.

All manuals and slide presentations are constantly being upgraded and are mapped to all competencies, including those required by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland for the issue of licences.

Assessments for the mining industry have also been written and mapped for these training programmes.
